Cruinniú na nÓg

The Creative Ireland Kerry Office currently have an open call for proposals for Cruinniu na nÓg 2024. For full details go to the Forms/Funding section. 

Submissions are also being invited from photographers and content creators to capture some of the events on the day. Please email with some details and expressing your interest.

Ireland is the only country in the world to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg, which is a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of Creative Ireland’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people. The inaugural Cruinniú na nÓg took place on 23rd June 2018 and since then, children and teenagers across the country have enjoyed a wide variety of creative activities including workshops, performances, screenings and readings.This year it is celebrated on Saturday 15th June 2024.
