Annual Funding

Subject to budget and through a competitive application process, we award Arts Act Grants to arts festivals, events, projects and venues, and Artist Bursaries (Creative Work Development, Further Arts Education, Artist in Schools, Eamon Kelly & Bursary to Attend an Artist Retreat) to individual artists in Kerry. The deadline for 2024 applications has now passed.

 

Cruinniú na nÓg 2024

Proposals are being sought from creative practitioners, artists, event organisers and organisations, to organise events for Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday 15th June. They can be on the day only, or a series of workshops leading up to a showcase on Cruinniú na nÓg. Collaboration between artists, communities and youth groups is strongly encouraged, with an aim to engage with early childhood, youth and families, in  community, arts, primary and post-primary school settings.

The deadline for submission of applications is 1pm on Thursday 28th March.

Submissions are also being invited from photographers and content creators to capture some of the events on the day. Please email arts@kerrycoco.ie with some details and expressing your interest.

 

Kerry Short Film Bursary 2024

Applications are being sought to produce a short drama or documentary film in the county. At least one of the core team (Writer/Director/Producer) must be from or living in Kerry. €10,000 will be awarded to the successful team.

Guidelines & Application Form

The deadline for submission of applications is 1pm on Thursday 11th April.

Two online information sessions will be held on Tuesday 19th March and Wednesday 20th March, which will provide details on how to submit a competitive application and on the basics of screenwriting. Applicants are encouraged to attend both sessions to ensure their submission has the best chance of success. Register to attend by emailing arts@kerrycoco.ie
