Annual Funding

Subject to budget and through a competitive application process, we award Arts Act Grants to arts festivals, events, projects and venues, and Artist Bursaries (Creative Work Development, Further Arts Education, Artist in Schools & Bursary to Attend an Artist Retreat) to individual artists in Kerry. The closing date for 2024 funding is 1pm, 18th January 2024.

Kerry County Council’s Arts Service is seeking sectoral and public input to the forthcoming Kerry Arts Strategy. This Arts Strategy will cover the period 2023-2033, building on the achievements of previous arts strategies, and looking to grow arts support and plan for development of the arts in Kerry. Central to the Arts Service delivery is continued support to the arts sector and the creation of opportunities for audiences and public to engage with the arts. Planning for the sustainable development of the arts in Kerry is a priority for the Arts Service.
