Annual Funding

Subject to budget and through a competitive application process, we award Arts Act Grants to arts festivals, events, projects and venues, and Artist Bursaries (Creative Work Development, Further Arts Education, Artist in Schools, Eamon Kelly & Bursary to Attend an Artist Retreat) to individual artists in Kerry. The deadline for 2024 applications has now passed.

Culture Night 2024

Kerry County Council offers small scale event support to event organisers across Kerry for Culture Night, which is taking place this year on 20th September. New event activities and organisations each year are supported where possible. We seek to support events that pay the artist/speaker/facilitator, and have a strong audience reach. The focus is on events (indoor and outdoor) such as open studios, workshops, performances, talks, tours, spectacle, exhibitions and showcases which support creative professionals and promote culture. All events must be free to the public.
