After nearly 50 years as a full time professional artist I look back on work ranging from book illustration to monumental bronze casting, from stone carving to original printmaking, oil painting, stained glass making, pen and ink drawing watercolour, conceptual arts, ceramics, bas relief and almost everything in between. Embrace mystery in your work and try to create things which please you and no one else. Try your hand at anything and everything and never let anyone tell you what to do and most of all never be afraid to change your mind, your style, and your techniques. Ultimately, look for your reward in the process, not the outcome I chose to change and change often. To be difficult and to be independent – in the end this means freedom – the most desirable state of being which no good man gives up without a fight.
