The Seanchaí Centre acts as a source and educaton centre to celebrate, promote and disseminate information in relation to the literary and traditional arts heritage of Kerry, to engage in research in connection with this heritage and to provide educational opportunities for students and the general public in relation to literature, traditional arts and other matters of local interest. The aim is to provide a Centre of excellence for the local community to access and participate in artistic activities, and provide a platform for professional artists, to assist in developing their art form. Activities focus on access, participation and interaction in the arts.
