I am originally from the Hudson Valley in NY the birth place of the Hudson River School started in the mid 19th century. The oil paintings were influenced by romanticism and luminism. I try to apply the same principles in my landscapes of Ireland. Light and atmosphere plays an important part in all my oil paintings.
