Ciara is an exhibiting artist based in Corca Dhuibhne, West Kerry, Ireland. She is a founding member of the Goat Street Studios, a studio collective in Dingle, Co. Kerry and a graduate of the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.

My work is based on enquiry. Using sculpture and contemporary drawing I seek to explore awareness of human conceived boundaries around us and between us and the rest of what exists. These boundaries can be philosophical, cultural and physical. These limitations we place on ourselves are often non-physical and unconscious and it is these boundaries that draw my attention the most. Modern science and eastern philosophies are often a support in my enquiry.
