Biography
My practice employs performed monologues to situate the audience in a narrative by constructing specific viewing & listening conditions. Through narrative based works, I am interested in bringing tactility to seemingly abstract events in particulr in relation to the internet & ecology. Through weaving fictional, factual, personal & global narratives, my work explores the entanglement between rural & digital infastructures. I draw on the tradition of the Irish storyteller to create a contemporary form of spoken narrative in which gestures are performed & the story told becomes haptic & vivid in the space of the audience.
