My work falls into two main categories. The first is representational landscapes, in which I try to portray the magic and charm of the Kerry countryside for those who may not have experienced it for themselves and to evoke the warmth of memory for those who, like me, have long been under its’ spell. The second category is entirely imaginative, where I create scenes from other times or other worlds. I enjoy both the discipline of the one and the freedom of the other – my only problem is deciding which I want to do next!
